DALC submits response to local government reorganisation consultation

The Devon Association of Local Councils (DALC) has now submitted its response to the consultation on local government reorganisation (LGR) proposals for Devon.

In line with our position statement, the response does not endorse a specific proposal. Instead, it focuses on the key issues for parish and town councils and the extent to which the proposals support their future role in local governance.

The response reflects feedback from our member councils and highlights several key priorities for the sector, including:
