Devon Association of Local Councils (DALC) is calling for clarity and certainty for parish and town councils following the government’s decision to pause and review its local government reorganisation programme in the county.
The National Joint Council (NJC) for Local Government Services has agreed on pay rates applicable from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. The new pay rates are each increased by 3.3 per cent per annum.
