Parish and town councils are the bedrock of local democracy – driving initiatives that make our communities stronger and more vibrant while building resilience. Serving as a non-executive director at DALC offers a unique opportunity to champion these vital institutions and ensure they receive the recognition, resources, and support they deserve.
As a board member, your insight and leadership can help shape how we advocate for local councils and influence policies that directly affect the communities we serve. You’ll play a key role in strategic planning, decision-making, and enhancing the services DALC offers. From improving resource allocation to driving initiatives that elevate the voice of local councils, your impact will be both meaningful and lasting.
